ARMS Reliability was proud to host some of the top reliability, maintenance, and root cause analysis professionals from all over the globe in Austin, Texas during our annual Reliability Summit this past March.
The Reliability Summit has been held in various cities throughout the world since 1994. It has become the premier event for organizations focused on building high-performing reliability programs that are able to operate more efficiently, effectively, and realize more value from their assets.
The prevailing focus of the event was common maintenance and reliability challenges. Over the course of 4 days, delegates from over 45 companies met in downtown Austin, TX to take part in skills-based workshops, listen to industry expert presentations, and cultivate their community of practice and knowledge by sharing experiences, challenges, and lessons learned at all stages along the reliability journey in an intimate, and fun networking environment.
The workshops were developed with that theme in mind, featuring training on topics such as: Root Cause Analysis, Intro to Reliability, Managing Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Quick-Wins and Change Management, RAMS/ RBDs/ Availability Modeling, Conducting a Reliability Maturity Assessment, and Asset Strategy Management.
Presentations by clients and partners included a variety of subjects and case studies on reliability journeys and paths toward continuous improvement and root cause analysis. Attendees heard from companies such as Constellation Brands, JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), Consolidated Nuclear Security, Boeing, Sammamish Plateau Water, Enmax, Trinity River Authority of TX, and sat in keynote presentations from ARMS CEO, Jason Apps, and ReliabilityWeb’s CEO, Terrence O’Hanlon.
The event also featured an Asset Strategy Management (ASM) Leadership Exchange. Leaders of the ASM community and clients of Asset Strategy Management software Cordant™ Asset Strategy gathered at the Summit in a special forum to present ASM case studies, applications and best practices of Cordant™ Asset Strategy, and further the community of Asset Strategy Management.
Jason Apps, ARMS CEO stated “Once again the feedback from attendees of the Reliability Summit was the great benefit they gain from hearing from others, who are on a similar journey to improve asset reliability. The theme of the conference and workshops then had the discussions largely focused on the value and benefit in implementing Asset Strategy Management (ASM) and how to best implement it.”
We look forward to continuing our mission of enriching careers and deepening the connections among the reliability and maintenance community with future Reliability Summit events.
